Christa Sharp, the owner and full time pet sitter of Bones Pet Care, has experience in caring for cats, dogs, and small animals as a pet owner and full time pet sitter for ten years. Prior to her experience as a pet sitter, she also worked at the Humane Society of Southeast Missouri and the Durham Animal Protection Society as an animal care technician and adoption counselor. She is knowledgeable about common small animal illness, basic puppy training, and is prepared for the unexpected so you can have total peace of mind when your pets are in her care. Christa is insured, bonded, a member of Pet Sitters International, and Red Cross Pet First Aid Trained.

Bones Pet Care offers a free consultation visit so we can get to know you and your pet. We will take notes regarding your pet's usual routine, feeding habits, walking, favorite activities, and medication schedule. Whether your pet is high energy and loves to walk and play or is a couch potato who loves lap time, you can be sure they will be getting personal attention and care. Making your pet feel special and loved while you are away is the best part of our job! We can also perform basic house sitting tasks such as mail and paper take-in, trash curbing, plant watering, and light and blind rotation.
